Part of the interaction at Kensington Palace is to get close to period costumes, or at least examples. The palace has a selection of mannequins which are mobile and placed around the site. They asked me to look at the plinths to improve the design and try to make them more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

 

We refurbished the stands with new metal supports and additional removable wooden skirting that matched the period reference and that would conceal the casters, while adding extra support.
